Happy New Year! #newgoals #newchallenges #booktag

Hey booklovers!!

Welcome to another new year. It’s amazing how quickly one year went by. I remember planning the Goodreads Challenge in December 2017 and here we are in 2019.

Surprisingly I read a good amount of books that I wasn’t even sure I will read to begin with. All this cannot have been accomplished by me alone. It’s a huge thank you to the book community who continue to inspire me and encourage me to do what I love.

As part of the this year’s challenge I have decided to participate in some other challenges as well. Namely The Pop Sugar challenge and The British Crime Classic to name a few. A full list of the challenges am participating will be posted separately by this week.

Another idea I thought of giving a try was the weekly feature, where I would love to hear discussions from other book bloggers about the various topics I have in mind. It would be incredible to hear what your thoughts are on it.

Am still in the process of doing slight changes to the blog, not design wise but just to keep it fresh and these are some things I came up with.

Reading books and blogging, bookstagraming and reviewing feels so calming and like this belongs only to me. Ha.

Resolution wise I have made none. I learned that long ago that they are just words and only action matters. Book blogging wise the only “resolution” I have decided is to make it more thorough and better. It’s a work in progress but it’s fun.

I hope you guys had a wonderful 2018 and am hoping to make this year even better.

  1. Happy new year to you, Vandy. 😀 Happy to hear that you will be participating in the British Crime Classics Challenge. There are many more challenges that I came across – the Cozy mystery reading challenge by Lori Caswell and vintage mystery challenge by Bev Hankins. Then, there are few Goodreads groups – detective challenges, ABC reading challenges and many more. 😀
